Laura Jane Stafford Goff, 74, of McMinnville (Blues Hill community) died Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born Dec. 8, 1941 in McMinnville, was a retired employee of N.H.C. Health Care in Smithville and was a member of Shellsford Baptist Church. Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Edna Mai Magness Stafford, a son, Charles Wayne Goff, and sisters, Norma Parham and Dorothy Bailey.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years G. L. Goff, son, Geoffery Lynn Goff, daughter, Melissa Gail Terry, brothers, David (Charlene) Stafford and Frank Ralph (Beatrice) Stafford, grandchildren Valerie Nicole Terrasi, Brandon Michael Terry, Joshua Wayne Goff and Tony Goff, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 at Blues Hill Cemetery. Elder Nick Pelham will officiate. Interment will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery. The Goff Family will receive friends Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
