Larry Nile Hollis, 63, of Woodbury died Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Select Specialty Hospital. He was a native of Cannon County.Survivors include his mother, Ovie Rogers Hollis of Woodbury; children Amanda Hollis, Emily Hollis, and Ricky Nile Hollis, all of Woodbury; grandchildren, Olivia and Lindsey; siblings, Debbie (Ronnie) Mahaffey of Woodbury and Shane (Joyce Ann) Hollis of McMinnville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by his father, Nile Hollis; and grandparents, C.D. and Lois Rogers and Comer and Gladys Hollis.Mr. Hollis was a member of the church of Christ and was a factory worker at Greer and Chromalox.Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Thyatira Cemetery with Herb Alsup officiating.
