McMinnville resident and Wilson County native Larry Dan Snow, 69, was born Dec. 16, 1946 and died suddenly April 5 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital.
A retired foreman with Carrier Corporation, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, he was the son of Mary Snow of Smithville, and the late Robert Lee Snow.
He was married Nov. 2, 1967 to Peggy Pedigo Snow of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Chris Snow and wife Lori of McMinnville, Kris Ann Stanley and Kendall Mayfield of McMinnville, and Matthew Snow of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren, Adry and Aryn Snow, and Zach Stanley, all of McMinnville, and Jayleigh Ryan and Matty Snow, both of Murfreesboro; brother, Tommy Snow of Gallatin; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Robin Treadway of Nashville; niece, Elizabeth Treadway of Nashville; and nephew, Tucker Treadway of Nashville.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence, Chris Snow and Zack Stanley officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High’s.
