Kenneth Larry Gribble, 74

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Kenneth Larry Gribble, 74, was born Sept. 20, 1945 and died March 13 at his residence following an extended illness.

Retired from Carrier Corporation and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Jimmie Clayton and Martha Dellon Thweatt Gribble.

He worked at Carrier when it opened in 1968 and continued there until the company closed in 2005. He loved walking his dog, Roxie, at Riverfront Park. He enjoyed summertime swims in the pool and days at the lake. He also enjoyed going to the movies and spending time with his brother working in the garage.

He is survived by two children and spouses, Gennie and Jeremy Morgan and Kathy and Chris Hasty, four siblings and spouses, Juanita Warren of Murfreesboro, Pat and Bill Jenkins of Hillsboro, Shiney and Billy Roberts of McMinnville, and Jimmie and Cynthia Gribble of McMinnville, four grandchildren, Cameron, Emily, Wiley and Ean, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at High’s Parlor with Billy Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
