Katheleen “Kitty” Menchaca, 87, of McMinnville passed from this life Sunday, Aug. 2, at Saint Thomas MidTown Hospital in Nashville.

Kitty was born Tuesday, June 13, 1933 in Hoxie, Ark., the daughter of the late Sanford Marlin and the late Edith Evans Marlin. She was the wife of the late Danny Menchaca and also preceded in death by three sisters Ruby Lee Marlin, Barbara Marlin, and Mary Myers, and two brothers William Marlin and Bobby Marlin.

Kitty and Danny owned and operated Danny’s Mobile Homes. Kitty is survived by her two daughters Cindy Lee Buterbaugh, and Regina Fish and husband Danny, grandchildren Daniel Allen, Ernie Buterbaugh, Joshua Buterbaugh and Shayla Spivey, Kirsten Cunningham and husband Adam, Lindsay Powell and husband Ben, Danny Fish and wife Nicole, Brandi Bennet and husband Anthony, and Kayla Gouge and husband Philip, brothers Kenneth Marlin, Patrick Marlin and wife Suzette Diane, and David Marlin and wife Martha, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 5201 Manchester Highway in Smartt. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 5201 Manchester Hwy., Smartt, Tennessee.
