Judy Sells Hennessee, 67

Judy Sells Hennessee, 67, of McMinnville died Friday, Dec. 12, at Signature Health Care of Putnam County after a courageous 15-year fight with cancer.
She was born Aug. 18, 1947 in Livingston to the late Fred Sells and Clara Bilbrey Sells. She was a school counselor in the Warren County School System for 38 years. She was a graduate of David Lipscomb University where she earned her bachelor’s degree and then attended Tennessee Technological University where she earned her master’s degree. She attended East End Church of Christ for 28 years where she was greatly involved with her church family and loved them dearly.
She is survived by daughter and son-In-law, Demetria and Justin Pace of Cookeville; brother, Danny and Wanda Sells of Manchester; nephews, Josh and April Sells of Huntsville, Ala., Jonathan Sells of Murfreesboro; great-nephew, Luke Sells of Huntsville; great-niece, Emma Sells of Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in McMinnville at noon. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. A visitation will also be held Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services. Kevin Key will officiating. Interment will follow at Sells Cemetery in the Independence Community of Livingston following services.
