Judy King Tigue, 60, passed away Aug. 10 suddenly at Erlanger Medical Center after a brief illness.

Judy was born March 22, 1958 to the late John King and Hassie Perry King. She was a former nursery work and a certified nursing assistant at NCH Healthcare. For the past 15-plus years she worked as a caregiver at McMinnville Boarding Home for the Elderly. Judy had found her niche in caring for the elderly, she was humble, kind, hardworking, and strived to bring joy to the people she cared for daily. She was loved by residents and co-workers and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harold Edward Tigue, brother J.C. King, sisters Irene King Stevens and Ruth Roberts.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Amanda and David King, son Kevin Tigue (Jessica Craven), brothers Tommy King, Austin King, John King, Cecil King, and sister Carol Tigue, grandchildren Liz, Cyrus, Logan, Amarah, David King III and Xavier King, Dallas, Kendra, Mathias, and Maximus Tigue, Dalton and Bryson Ashmore. Also, she is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and other extended family. Judy was a loving wife, mother, granny, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.

There will be no visitation at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Donations may be made to WCDC Hamilton Street Activity Center.
