Rock Island resident and Campaign native Judy Ann Cunningham, 74, was born March 23, 1943 and died July 18 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.A retired school teacher with the White County School System where she taught second grade for 40 years, and a member of the Lutheran Church, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Bernice Bilbrey Lee. She was married Jan. 2, 1987 to Adrian Larry Cunningham, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 2011. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Robert Lee; niece Cheryl Taylor; and special aunt Mutt McBride.She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Jason Smartt of Morrison and Kim Hamel of Raleigh, N.C.; son Brent Cunningham of Panama City, Fla.; three grandchildren and spouses, Katie and Tyler Mitchell of McMinnville, Jenna and Sam Morton of Memphis, and Jaden Smartt of Morrison; one great-grandson Lake Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Eva Lee of McMinnville; sister Mattie Taylor of McMinnville; nieces, nephews and their spouses, Carol and Russell Hamblen, Ron and Becky Lee, Randy and Sherri Taylor, and Jeff and Sara Lee, all of McMinnville, and Suzanne and Larry White of Seattle, Wash.; mother-in-law, Earline Cunningham of Viola; and numerous cousins also survive.Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, July 21 at High’s Chapel with pastor David McMinn officiating.
