Joyce Elizabeth Bryant, 86, a Rock Island resident and Warren County native, was born June 11, 1930 and died March 14 at her residence following an extended illness.She was a homemaker and daughter of the late Tommy Lee and Bessie Pitman Bain. Mrs. Bryant was married Aug. 16, 1947 to Robert Thomas “Cruse” Bryant, who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2015.Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Betsey Bryant of McMinnville; grandson Travis “Tray” (Inez) Bryant of Rock Island; granddaughter Brittany (Robert) Lundy of Nashville; great-grandson Eli Eldridge of McMinnville; sister Dorothy Collins of Magee, MS; and nieces, Melissa Lewis of Magee, MS and Donna Madsen of Highland, IL.Graveside service and interment will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 17, at Mt. View Cemetery with Steve Breedlove to officiate.
