McMinnville resident and Warren County native Joyce Elaine Myers, 60, was born Nov. 7, 1953 and died unexpectedly Jan. 1 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville.The co-owner of A.J.’s Tree Farm and a member of Christian Fellowship Church, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Ellen Irene Muncey Basham. She was married March 23, 1970 to Alvin Boyd Myers, who preceded her in death Aug. 24, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by Betty Basham.She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Joey Cathey of McMinnville, and Annette and Dudley Lewis of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Nickolas Cathey and Trey Lewis; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Melba Basham of Smartt Station; sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Willie Roberts of McMinnville; two nieces, Kelli Knight and Kimberly Ouahdani, both of McMinnville; and two nephews, Brandon Basham and Lee Basham, both of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in High’s Chapel with Danny Sullivan officiating.
