Joyce C. Adcock Southard, 83, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, was born May 11, 1934 and died Nov. 9 in NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness. She was a retired employee of Formfit Rogers, a member of Arlington Church of Christ and daughter of the late Arlie and Mandy Cantrell Adcock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Johnny Southard; son Michael Southard; and sister Cornelia “Tooter” Powell.
