Joseph Glenn Harvey, 83, a McMinnville resident and Dodge City, Kan., native was born April 17, 1935 and passed away Nov. 13 at his residence following a one-year illness.


He was a retired employee of Carrier, member of Westwood Church of Christ, and son of the late Porter and Alice Wells Harvey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Bruce Alan Harvey and brother Sam Harvey.


Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife, Jo Harvey of McMinnville; daughter-in-law Patricia Harvey Murray and husband Kenny Murray of McMinnville; three children and spouses, Scott and Paulette Harvey of Middletown, Md., Steve and Lisa Harvey of McMinnville, and Anna and Barry Hendrixson of Murfreesboro, 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Woodward of Guntersville, Ala.


Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at High’s Chapel with Richard O’Conner to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
