Warren County native and Sparta resident Johnny Dean Brady, 65, was born May 5, 1956 and died Jan. 25 at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville following a sudden illness.
A veteran of the United States Army, a nursery worker at Ware’s Nursery, and of the Baptist faith, he was the son of the late Johnny Doyle and Linda Edell Brady. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Charles Joe Brady and Mike Brady, and sister Linda Gail Brady.
Mr. Brady is survived by daughter April Michelle (William) Drake of McMinnville, son J.D. (Rachel) Brady Jr. of Sparta, grandchildren Haley Lane, Harley Lewis, Hannah Sanders, Ayrin Drake, Tyler Brady, Dalton Johnson Brady, Hunter Young and Brittany Brady, great-grandchild, Braxleigh Rigsby, special aunt Lucy Brady, and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Mr. Brady will be cremated per his wishes. Memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at High’s Chapel with Jeff Brady officiating.
