Johnnie "Buck" McCormick, Jr., 82, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native died May 1 at River Park Hospital following an illness of six months. He was a self-employed cattle farmer, U.S. Army Veteran, life member of Disabled Veterans and V.F.W. and member of the North Hills Dr. Church of God of Prophecy. He was the son of Melvina Delaney McCormick of Rock Island and the late Johnnie McCormick, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Helen Cooper; two brothers, Alvin and Malcolm McCormick and daughter-in-law, Rachel Jeannette McCormick.
