Quebeck resident and Warren County native Joe Edward Whitworth, 83, was born Sept. 17, 1930 and died April 6 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. A retired employee of Mallory Timer and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late John Floyd and Josephine Mayfield Whitworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Brock Whitworth; daughter, Evelyn Whitworth; grandson, Toby Whitworth; brothers, E.L., “Bug” and Wayne Whitworth and sister, Mae Gibbs.Mr. Whitworth was married May 7, 1965 to Claudine Whitworth of Quebeck.
