Surrounded by family, Jewel Overstreet passed away in Zephyrhills, Fla., on April 26, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born to Mercel and Marygold Hickey on Dec. 6, 1934 at her grandparents’ home in Tampa, Fla. She wed Marion Overstreet in 1953, and they were married until his death in 1991.
