Jerry Travis Ferrell, 43 of Morrison, died on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Travis was born Monday, Sept. 10, 1979 in McMinnville. He was the son of the late David and Linda Butcher Ferrell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Dwayne Bates and Junior Bates and his grandmother, Goldie Ferrell.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by his wife, Shanatha Ferrell of Rock Island; children, Matthew Ferrell of Rock Island; Breaunna Ferrell of Morrison; Christian Ferrell of McMinnville; Lakelyn Ferrell of Centertown; brother and sister-in-law, David “Crockett” and Pat Ferrell of Morrison; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 and again at 10 a.m. until the time of service 1 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.

Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
