Jerry Franklin Savage, 71, a Warren County resident and Grundy County native, was born Dec. 9, 1947 and passed away Aug. 27 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro following an extended illness.

He was a United States Air Force veteran of Vietnam, retired employee of Bridgestone, and son of the late Osbon and Willie Nunley Savage.

Mr. Savage is survived by wife, Ann Savage of McMinnville; son Steven Savage of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and cousin Donna Young of Spencer.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30 with Gene McClure to officiate. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
