Mr. Jerry Dan Griffin, 71, of McMinnville died Tuesday, Nov. 17, at a hospital in Nashville.
Born Sept. 5, 1944, he was a 20-year employee of Magnetek and a member of Dibrell Church of Christ. Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by parents Estie William and Vera Pearl Holder Griffin, sisters Jean Curme and Virginia Dare Staub, and brothers Morris Griffin and Huell “Griff” Griffin.
Survivors include his wife Earlene Griffin of McMinnville, twin sister Dian (David) Greene of McMinnville, sister Betty Vinch of Florida, brother Marlin Griffin of Michigan, sisters-in-law Maxine (Danny) Davis of Hillsboro, Penny (David) Hankal of McMinnville, and Lorie (Tim) Wilcher of McMinnville, and mother-in-law Ruby Griffin. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Larry Vinson and Bro. David Greene will officiate. Interment will follow at Fuston Cemetery. The Griffin family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
