McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jamie Wayne Collins, 40, was born June 29, 1971 and died Dec. 25 at his residence following a sudden illness.A mechanic, he was the son of Jerry and Kathy Collins of McMinnville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.R. and Margaret Collins and maternal grandparents, Jean and Donald Barrett.In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Shannon Hillis of McMinnville; two nephews, Jaden Wayne Forsythe and Christopher Hillis; two nieces, Katarina Hillis and Briannia Melton, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.A graveside service and interment were held Friday at Collins Cemetery with Willis Brown officiating.High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
