James Willard Hill, 80, of McMinnville died Thursday, Aug. 23 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1932, in McMinnville, was a retired staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, retired truck driver and a retired computer programmer. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by parents Clay Brown and Elizabeth Abigail Bost Hill, his wife Linda Faye Tuck Hill, and daughter Elizabeth Ann Hill.Survivors include his children and spouses, Joe and Tammy Hill, Justin and Debra Hill, all of McMinnville; Tabitha and Timothy Collins of Viola, and James A. and Carolyn Hill of Jena, La.; sister, Frances Nadine Smith of Powder Springs, Ga.; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren also survive.Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
