McMinnville resident and Warren County native James Mark Scott, 54, was born April 6, 1962 and died July 17 at his residence following a sudden illness.A former employee of Kidd Ford and a member of the Church of Christ at East End, he was the son of the late James Houston “Buddy” Scott and Ruby Irene Hollis. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Marcum Vestol and Salley K. Scott; and maternal grandparents, Ellis and Mamie Hollis; and uncle, Sam Scott. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tristan and Anastasia Brock of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Christopher and Blaine; brother, Houston Lee Scott of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
