Mr. James “Jim” Russell Risinger, 70, of McMinnville, died Sunday, Aug. 31, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born March 19, 1944 in Louisville, Ky., served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, was a Baptist, and retired as plant manager of McMinnville Garment Factory. Mr. Risinger was preceded in death by parents Marvin Risinger, Edith Roberts Jenkins, and special family members Katherine Strong and Russell Roberts, who were an important part of raising him during his youth.
