James Charlie Carrick, 66

Shelbyville resident and Warren County native James Charlie Carrick, 66, was born Jan. 5, 1945 and died Nov. 27 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma following an extended illness. 
An employee of the Tennessee Highway Patrol and member of the Presbyterian Church, he was the son of the late Dallas Bedford and Nettie Florence Lance Carrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Randall and Cecil Carrick, and one sister, Estelle Fitts. 
He is survived by two sisters, Mabel Lornetta Carrick Tittsworth and Josephine Fitts, both of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Arnetta Carrick of Woodbury, and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with Mark Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Centertown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service today at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
