McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jacqueline “Jac” Sharpe, 89, was born April 21, 1922 and died May 1 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following a lingering illness.A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Laverne and Minnie Floyd Smartt Earle. She was married in 1946 to Ernest Fuller Sharpe Jr., who preceded her in death in 1997. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Frederick Earl Sharpe; brothers, Harold, Morris and Karl Earle; sister-in-law, Doris Earle; and brothers-in-law, Joe Fisher and Casey Killian.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John M. and Charlotte Sharpe of Nashville; daughter, Mary Beth Sharpe of Nashville; two sisters, Charline Killian of Beersheba Springs, and Sue Fisher of Nashville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Sarah Earle of Wilmington, N.C., and Richard and Bobbie Earle of Huntsville, Ala.; sister-in-law, Wanda Earle of Huntsville, Ala.; and many loving nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with John Vaughan and Bob Case officiating.
