Jacob Morgan J.M. Bratcher, 80

Jacob Morgan “J.M.” Bratcher, 80, of Woodbury died June 9 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.
He was born June 5, 1935 to his parents, the late V.E. and Ila Oakley Campbell Bratcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Jeffery Bratcher; two brothers, Donald Bratcher and Jerry Bratcher; sister, Wanda Brown.
He was a retired construction worker, attended Blues Hill Church of Christ and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jonell Bratcher of Woodbury; three sons, Barry (Regina) Bratcher of Freystade, Germany, Jason and Joel Bratcher both of Woodbury; three grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob and Vanessa Bratcher; half-brother, Barton (Phyllis) Todd of McMinnville; several nieces , nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Rannie Phillips officiating. Burial followed at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery with military honors.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville was in charge of arrangements.
