Jack Randall Eslick, 73, of McMinnville died Thursday, Aug. 29, surrounded by his family at his residence.
He was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Tullahoma and was a retired educator at Dibrell with the Warren County School System, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and attended Rolling Acres Brethren In Christ Church. Mr. Eslick was preceded in death by his parents Hume Ross Eslick, Jr. and Jessie Eunice Bailey Eslick, a sister Barbara Ann Prosser, and a brother Hume Ross Eslick III.
Survivors include his wife Colleen Eslick of McMinnville, daughter Lori Eslick of Nashville, son Jack Eslick of McMinnville, sister Malinda (John) Lamb of Shelbyville, and special friends Kim Petty and Marty Forsyth.
A memorial and celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Military grave rites will be administered at the funeral home by American Legion Post 173 and the VFW Post 5064. The Eslick family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 14 from noon until 2 p.m. in the Chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home.
