McMinnville resident and Kokomo, Ind., native Iva Irene Dodson, 70, was born Nov. 20, 1942 and died July 9 at her residence following a brief illness.A retired nurse’s aide at Raintree Manor and a member of the Pentecostal Church, she was the daughter of the late Willard Reese and Catherine Morgan Smith. She was married to Kenneth Edward Dodson, who preceded her in death in 1989.She is survived by son Kenneth (Terry) Dodson of the Dibrell community; daughter, Holly (Wayne) Davis of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Kenneth Dodson and Justin Dodson, both of the Dibrell community and Morgan Davis of McMinnville; brother, David Reese of Florida; sister, Sandy McKenny of Bone Cave; and special friend and caregiver, Debbie Elkins.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
