Morrison resident and Coffee County native Ida May Cummings, 65, was born May 1, 1948 and died March 3 at her residence following an extended illness.A retired CNA with Middle Tennessee Veterans Home and a member of Browntown Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Nancy L. Wilkerson of Viola and the late Dave Wilkerson.In addition to her mother, she is survived by son, Mike Cummings of Morrison; two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah and Clyde Knox of Fayetteville, and Patricia Hickerson of Tullahoma; five grandchildren, Hope Hickerson, Ashley Cummings, LaToyia and Vanessa Pincheon and Natalie Knox; three grandsons, Kelief Hickerson, Justin Cummings and Clyde Knox II; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Joyce Wilkerson of the Smartt community and Jimmy and Linda Wilkerson of Morrison; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Wilkerson of Morrison, Mary and Larry Battles of Morrison, and Teresa and Dallas Carney of McMinnville; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.Funeral service will be held at noon Friday with Chris Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. A wake will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at High’s.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) March 5, 2014
