Grand Rapids, Mich., resident formerly of McMinnville Hugh Patrick, 89, died Feb. 25 after a short illness.A steel mill employee in Detroit and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre as an engineer, he was a native of Hazard, Ky.The son of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth Patrick, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Nevolyn Johnson Patrick; and daughter Marcia Patrick.He is survived by son, Dr. David (Olga) Patrick of Ada, Mich.; granddaughters, Michaeia, Caitlin and Ariel; and a sister who lives in Kentucky.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt.
