Mr. Howard Dale McCorkle, 87, of McMinnville died Sunday, June 28, at River Park Hospital. Born on Jan. 28, 1928, in Dunreith, Ind., he was a retired employee from Firestone Tire and Rubber, owned Dale McCorkle Plumbing, and was a member of Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. McCorkle was preceded in death by parents Charles Alexander and Margaret Price McCorkle, wife Charlene Cable McCorkle, sisters Faye Revis, Mary Godlove, Margaret Hammond, and Marie Sagerster, brothers Basil, Max, William, Harold, and Lowell McCorkle, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Christine and George Silvers.Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Kris and Paula McCorkle of Morrison, and grandchildren Katie and Mitchell McCorkle.
