Herlie L. “Pete” Davis, 96, of Redford, Mich., (formerly of Warren County) died Monday, Aug. 29.
He was born July 7, 1915, in Warren County and was a retired employee of Cadillac Motors, and a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by parents, Orbrey and Beulah Earls Davis; wife, Clara Hall Davis; daughter Gloria Kaszuba; sisters, Johnnie Jones and Sylvia Hetrick; and brothers Felix and Hoover Davis.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Landon and Drucilla Davis; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
A graveside service and interment was held Sept. 3 at Centertown Cemetery. Kenneth Mears officiating.
McMinnville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
