McMinnville resident and Auburntown native Helen Lucille Johnson, 79, was born March 28, 1937 and died Feb. 13 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Brown Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Ruth Southern Wade. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Diane Faye Johnson; two grandsons Spencer Lee Colvin Jr. and Nathan Fisk; two sisters Carrie Macon and Ruby Pleasant; and brother Cecil Wade.She was married Dec. 5, 1955 to James Edward Johnson of McMinnville.
