Hazel Leona Hill Griffith, 92, of McMinnville, the Lord called her home Tuesday, Oct. 20 at NHC HealthCare of McMinnville.
She was born Saturday, March 10, 1923 in McMinnville and was the daughter of the late Elisha Bouldin Hill and Katie Jane “Turner” Hill. She was a baptized believer and faithful member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Joy Tubb and husband John of McMinnville, Betty Deaton and husband Doug of McMinnville; son Jimmy Griffith and wife Ramona of Mt. Juliet; granddaughter, Katherine “Katie” Tubb; four grandsons, John Ryan Tubb and wife Logan, Dillon Tubb, Steven Deaton and Delilah McGhee, Zack Griffith and wife Debbie; great-grandchildren, Dayron and Daniel Owens, Alex Griffith, Blake Deaton, William Griffith, Benjamin Griffith, and Sarah Griffith; great-great grandchildren, Lily Griffith, Brinley Deaton, and Charles Griffith.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Woodrow Griffith and grandson Greg Griffith.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Trent Key and Mike Steakley officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
