Hatilene English, 80

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Hatilene English, 80, was born Oct. 29, 1932 and died Sept. 19 at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital in Michigan.
She graduated from Tennessee State University with the class of 1955. She was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. of the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of 1953. She taught 32 years in the Roseville Elementary School District, and became a member of the AFL-CIO and the AFT. Her hobbies included reading, bowling and community service, where she was an active member of the Democratic Political Party. She was a member of East End Drive Church of Christ.
Ms. English was preceded in death by parents, Vonzo and Mary Ella Durham Savage. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd Lusk and Sandra Lawrence-Lusk, Hugh Lusk, Dwayne and Dana Lusk and Frank English; five grandsons, Curtis, Hugh, Bobby, Kristopher and Daniel; seven granddaughters, Tyffanie, Summer, Martha, Kristin, Amber, Marie and Wynter; and great-grandson, Jakob.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at East End Drive Church of Christ with George King Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
