McMinnville resident and Warren County native Haskel Knight Jr., 75, was born Dec. 17, 1939 and died Oct. 29 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. A retired general manager and senior director of Board of Operations with Fisher-Price, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and a member of Covenant Fellowship Church, he was the son of the late Haskel Grant and Hallie Mae Duggin Knight Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Bryan Knight; and sister Jackie Renee Keenan.He is survived by former wife, Judy Sparkman of Huntersville, N.C.; two daughters and son-in-law, Hallie Mitsu Comer, and Felicia and John Comer, all of East Greenwich, Rhode Island; three sons and daugAhter-in-law, Haskel Grant Knight III of Jacksonville, Fla., Albert and Yahair Roman of Dallas, Texas, and Otoniel “Tony” Roman of Arlington, Texas; seven grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Neva Knight of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Covenant Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at Charles Creek Cemetery with Dr. Dean Northcutt officiating.
