Mrs. Gladys I. Cripps, 88, of McMinnville died Friday, June 3, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital.Mrs. Cripps was born Sunday, Jan. 22, 1928 in McMinnville to the late Thomas and Gracie (Cope )Roller. She worked at the garment factory as a machine operater for 50 years. She was a member of Gath Baptist Church in McMinnville.Surviving are two sons, Michael and Jane Cripps of McMinnville, Jimmy Cripps of McMinnville, two sisters, Wilma and husband Norvan Pedigo of McMinnville, Harriet Mooneyham of McMinnville, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.Proceded in death by husband R.L. Cripps, two brothers Otis Roller and W.T. Roller.The family will receive friends Sunday, June 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of the service at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery Street.
