McMinnville resident and Warren County native George Washington Roberts Sr., 84, was born May 7, 1927 and died June 19 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A Baptist minister and a United States Army veteran of Korea, he was the son of the late Isiah and Lou Barnes Roberts. He was married to Berta Leola Bess Roberts, who preceded him in death Jan. 26, 2010.
