George Washington “G.W.” Crisp, 76, of Morrison died Wednesday, April 15, at River Park Hospital.He was born Friday, Jan. 20, 1939 in McMinnville and he was the son of the late Tom Brown and Alberta Crisp.He is survived by wife Dora Belle Carr Crisp; two sons, Donald W. Crisp and wife Jennifer and David L. Crisp; five grandchildren, Terrell Burton, Donald L. Crisp, Tasha S. Crisp, Heath Ricardo Crisp, and Raven McKinley; 12 great-grandchildren, Xavier Bonner, Myesha Goodrich, Jordan Bonner, Donovan E. Crisp, Taelyn Crisp, Bronson Crisp, Easton Crisp, Reese Cregor, Justus D. Majors, Kendrick Reagan, Cadence Slatton, and Colbi Slatton; two great great-grandchildren, Kiera Bonner, and Brooklyn Bonner; brother, Floyd Crisp; sister, Irene Crisp; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.Funeral service was held Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Eugene Wilkerson officiating. Burial followed at Heatherly Cemetery.
