Freddy Ray Anderson Sr., Astatula, Fla. Resident and Warren County native, was born Aug. 12, 1940 and passed from this life Nov. 2, 2022 following a short illness. A welder, he was a member of the Mount Dora Church of Christ in Mount Dora, Fla. He was the son of the late Ira Hill Anderson and the late Amanda Dyllus McVey Anderson. He was also proceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Bob and James Anderson, all of McMinnville.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Hamby Anderson; two sons, Freddy Ray (Liz) Anderson Jr. and James (Michelle) Anderson; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all of Astatula; a sister, Linda Scott of the Centertown community; local nephew and niece Robert (Donna) Anderson and Rachel Scott Hillis (Gary); and special cousin, Alta Faye Gribble of McMinnville.

Per his wishes, Mr. Anderson was cremated. A memorial service will be held in Florida.
