Frances Odell Simpson, 94, of Morrison died Monday, June 12, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. She was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Waverly, was a retired employee of Carrier Corporation and a member of Morrison Church of Christ. Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by parents William and Mattie Carnell Hemby, her husband George D. Simpson Sr., son George D. Simpson Jr., and all of her sisters and brothers.Survivors include her children William J. (Brenda) Simpson, Larry A. (Carol) Simpson, and Robert F. (Connie) Simpson, sister-in-law Shirley Simpson, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
