Eunice Austin Guy Pannell, 96, of Maryville died Saturday, Sept. 6 at her home.
She was a member of Alcoa-Maryville Church of God for over 50 years and was a beautician for 71 years. Mrs. Pannell was the owner of Eunice’s Beauty Salon for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Ray Guy and her husband, Rufus F. Pannell; parents, Polly and Dillard Austin; brothers, Lester, Kenneth, Edward, and Jewel Austin; sisters, Jessie Mae Harris, Mattie Anderson, Arrie Tolbert, and Gladys Ball.
Survivors include her daughters and husbands, Donna and Charles Young, Barbara and Bill Taylor; grandchildren, Yulonda and Spencer Burkhart, Kevin and Julie Young, Chris and Amy Taylor, Angie and Randy Heflin; great grandchildren, Kati, Ashleigh, Bryce, and Chase Burkhart, Avery and Blair Young, James, Addison, and Asher Taylor, Lauren Hill, Justin Taylor, and Miranda Heflin; great great grandchild, Austin Wallace; sisters, Ethel Sasta and Mabel Ann Hames; brothers, Perry Austin and Rillie Austin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert McGarity, Rev. Melvin Lonas, and Rev. Fred S. Cook officiating.
