McMinnville resident and Sanford, Mich., native Ethel Marie Grover, 91, was born Sept. 15, 1921 and died July 9 at her residence following an extended illness.A retired beautician and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late John Lewis and Abbie Lewis Baker. She was married to Thurlow Grover, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Judith A. Feley; and two brothers, Raymond and Gerald Baker.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joan Ann and Michael Arnold of McMinnville; six grandchildren and their spouses, Michael R. and Susan Arnold of Amo, Ind., David B. and Kristin Arnold of Whitestown, Ind., Michelle M. and Michael Guard of St. Cloud, Fla., Brian Feley of Flint, Mich., Angela and Trapper Merz of Traverse City, Ind., and Andra Feley of Honolulu, Hawaii; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Skinner of Holland, Mich.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Theresa Pickett of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel with James Johnson officiating.
