McMinnville resident and J. Pananiban, Camarines-Norte native Ernesto Francisco Escio, 73, died April 17 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after a brief illness.A wholesale salesman and a member of the Catholic Church, he was the son of Rufino V. Escio and Salvacion Francisco.He is survived by his wife, Asucion K. Escio; children, Catherine Escio and Rowena Sagui, all of McMinnville, Raul Escio, Michael Escio, Lourdes Gascon, Paolo Escio and Rachel Escio, all of the Philippines; grandchildren, Rachael Segui, Joshua Escio, Reina Segui, Ralf Escio and Jam Gascon; and siblings, Cora, Merly, Cesar, Arsenia, Lillian, Tony, Chari, Aubert, Josie and Ed.Services will be held at Forest Park Cemetery in Caloocan City, Philippines. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at High’s.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) April 20, 2011
