Elsie Delie Brown, 88, of McMinnville, died Monday, June 27, at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville. She was born Aug. 10, 1927, in Jamestown, was retired from the housekeeping department at Ball State University and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Muncie, Ind. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by parents Jim and Doshie Reagan Smith, husband Howard Nelson Brown, sisters Opal Norris, Geneva Malone, Alma Criswell, Alice Hatfield, May South and brothers Charles, Wilburn, and Jim Smith Jr.Survivors include her children, Danney (Marilyn) Brown and Kimberly (Scott) Hurst; grandchildren Jason Eric Brown, Christina Delia Carden, Matthew Christopher James Ingram, Breanna Nichole Ingram, Alyssa Beth Hurst (Sam) Miller and Mikayla Cheyenne Hurst; great-grandchildren, Sloan Logan Brown, Erinn Siobhan Brown, Michael Christopher Pigott, Danielle Elizabeth Pigott, Culann Richard Brown, Morhigan Rowan Brown and Rylan Miller; sister Gracie Norris, and brother Willie (Ella Mae) Smith.
