Mr. Elmer Ray Honeycutt Jr., 56, of McMinnville died Thursday, Dec. 13, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 21, 1962, in McMinnville, worked at Dr Pepper Bottling Co. for 24 years, was a member of the Baptist faith, served as a Cub Scout Master in Warren County for many years, actively served with special needs children in Fishing Rodeos and other fundraisers, was a ball coach for many years, and was an avid fisherman himself. He was preceded in death father Elmer Ray Honeycutt Sr., sister Charlotte Pryor, brother Robert Honeycutt, grandchild Colby Spencer, and nephew Dustin Pryor.
He is survived by his wife Vicki Vickers Honeycutt, mother Linda Russell Honeycutt, children Brian Spencer, Brittani (Jeff) Snider, Brandon (Brittany) Honeycutt, sister Marcia (Ralph) Williams, brother Harold Glenn Honeycutt, brother-in-law Tony Pryor, grandchildren Easton, Trinity, Eli, and Zoey Snider, and Jaxton Honeycutt, and two special kids who were like grandchildren to him Annie Lassiter and Bella Stoner. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many, many friends also survive.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tommy Russell, Bro. Rex Boles, Bro. Bobby Pennington, and Bro. Jamie English will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and again Sunday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
