Elfreda M. Krom, 80, of Warren, Ohio died Monday, Nov. 24, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
She was born May 8, 1934, in McMinnville, a daughter of Thomas R. and Susie (Peden) Caldwell. Formerly of Arizona and Tennessee, Mrs. Krom had been a resident of Mecca and Gillette Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed oil painting and sewing.
Mrs. Krom is survived by son, Richard Krom of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter, Vicki (Timothy) McPheron of Mecca, Ohio; two grandsons, Michael McCoy of German and Christopher McCoy of Mecca, Ohio; sister, Juanita Brown of Clarksville; and numerous nieces and nephews; and Gillette Nursing Home and also the fifth-floor nurses and aides at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  . 
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Howard and Thomas; and four sisters, Vivian, Ioma, Marie, and Edith.
