McMinnville resident Edward B. Mitchell, 82, died Wednesday, March 28, at Rantree Manor after an extended illness.He was born in Okolana, MS on July 30, 1929, the son of the late Eliza Jane (Rape) and James T. Mitchell. He was a member of Gath Baptist Church and worked for many years and retired from Powermatic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Anita Maharrey and Juanita Mitchell, and very special friend Eva Henderson.Mr. Mitchell is survived by daughter Judy G., and husband John Nussbaum of McMinnville, brothers J.T. Mitchell, and George F. and wife Polly Mitchell, all of McMinnville, nephew Lesley Mitchell and wife Pam of McMinnville, great-nephew Thomas Mitchell of McMinnville, special friends Betty and Kent Perry and Phyllis Gilley, and several nieces and nephews.Memorial service is Friday at 2 p.m. at Gardens of Memory with Bro.
