Edna Louise Parks Keech, 63McMinnville resident and Newport native Edna Louise Parks Keech, 63, died Oct. 27 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness.An LPN working in home health and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Carrie Mae Henderson Parks and was preceded in death by brother Ronald Parks.She is survived by daughter Mary Barkes of McMinnville; grandchildren, Kayla (Matthew) Barnes and Amber Barkes, all of McMinnville; brothers, Edrick Parks, James Parks, Gary Parks, Wade Parks and Roger Lee Parks, all of Newport; sisters, Sarah Parks Allen, Vernie Parks and Janet Maxine Gordon, all of Newport; and goddaughter, Aubrey Sims.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at High’s Chapel with John Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at High’s.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) Oct. 30, 2011
