Ms. Edith Gail Hollon, 73, of McMinnville passed away Tuesday night, Nov. 17, at her daughter’s home. 

Ms. Hollon was born March 18, 1947 in Belle Glade, Fla., to her parents, the late William and Dora Jones Roller. Also preceding her in death is her brother, William “Buff” Roller Jr. She was a homemaker, worked in the nursery industry and was a Christian.

Funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 20, at 12 p.m. noon from the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 9 a.m. until the service time at noon. Due to COVID-19 precautions, social distance measures will be observed. We are not accepting food in our kitchen facilities.

Survivors include daughter, Tina (Roger) Boivin of Morrison, three sons, John Smith of Lebanon, Brian (Connie) Smith of Smithville, and Sonny Smith of McMinnville, grandchildren, Christina (Michael) Parson of McMinnville, Randy Hawkins of Smithville, Anthony Hawkins of Smithville, Jake (Sara) Hawkins of Viola, Maranda (Josh) Moore of Irvin College, Kurt (Emily) Smith of McMinnville, Brent Elkins of Smithville, Ashley (Dallas) Hannah of Smithville, Roman Smith of Smithville, Eugene (Melissa) Smith of McMinnville, Wendy (Dee) Ledbetter of Florida and Michelle (Bryan) Christian of McMinnville, several great-grandchildren, two sisters, Kathleen Walker of Georgia and Mary Lou Bandy of Smithville.
